LNER Triplet Restaurant Car set on John Ryan's superb layout.
All photos by Tony Wright.
Although this pre-dates the LNER it has a teak-effect livery so is included here. The correct running number
was 23591 at the time of Mallard’s record run on the 3rd July 1938 and photos show that it was fully lined in
LNER service. As preserved in the NRM this coach
has the number 902502 but Isinglass clearly states
that it did not receive this number until becoming Departmental stock circa 1946.
Note : These are only sample model trains and many corrections and upgrades will be included in the production model trains.

We are also producing the ‘spare’ streamlined set in LNER Blue which was un-named but carried roof destination boards as required and 3 twins from this set were probably used with the Dynamometer Car on Mallard’s World Speed Record run in 1938.
We have started production of the “00” gauge coaches and these are scheduled for delivery during the period March to May 2013. Many are pre-ordered so please contact us for availability on e-mail.
The price is under negotiation and is expected to be £250 - £350 per coach depending upon the number ordered plus VAT and delivery. The price will be fixed for all firm orders.
Payment by card is welcome although for Credit Cards please add a 2% fee. We reserve the right to alter numbers, specifications and prices at any time is this becomes necessary.
