Although this pre-dates the LNER it has a teak-effect livery so is included here. The correct running number
was 23591 at the time of Mallard’s record run on the 3rd July 1938 and photos show that it was fully lined in
LNER service. As preserved in the NRM this coach
has the number 902502 but Isinglass clearly states
that it did not receive this number until becoming Departmental stock circa 1946.

We are also producing the ‘spare’ streamlined set in LNER Blue which was un-named but carried roof destination boards as required and 3 twins from this set were probably used with the Dynamometer Car on Mallard’s World Speed Record run in 1938.
Orders are welcome and as soon as there are sufficient we will start production. The number of variations produced will depend upon the level of firm orders.
There are very low numbers of each number and livery so please contact us for availability on e-mail.
The price is under negotiation and is expected to be £950 - £1,150 per coach depending upon the number ordered plus VAT and delivery. The price will be fixed for all firm orders.
Payment by card is welcome although for Credit Cards please add a 2% fee. We reserve the right to alter numbers, specifications and prices at any time is this becomes necessary.
